TESTIMONIALS
In the almost year that my son has attended QBT with Coach Joe Neves, he has grown leaps and bounds. His skill level and his confidence have improved beyond my expectations! The footage that shows how my son has improved from when he started until now is great, but even an untrained eye can see it during training sessions. Coach Neves has not only taught my son how to be a better quarterback, but also to be a better man. He lives and demonstrates the values of hard work, dedication, honesty and respect at all times, he expects no less from his athletes and that has definitely rubbed off on my son. Coach Neves and his family are all around good people and it has been a pleasure working with them, I highly recommend this trainer and business!
Coach Joe has been an amazing mentor to our son Kyle (KB)…KB began training with Joe without any quarterback experience whatsoever. Coach started with the basics and built his training around Kyle’s weekly progress. Kyle had a very successful season and continued working hard during the offseason under Coach Joe’s direction. Coach stressed the importance of footwork and he had KB jumping rope at home every day for 30 minutes—what a difference that made. By season 2, Kyle had matured and grown into a much more capable quarterback. He was earning the respect of his coaches and becoming a leader for his teammates. KB led his team to the State Final in 2012 and they won that title. Coach Joe and the QBT staff are more than just football “coaches”…They are our football “family”…KB has learned leadership, work ethic, the true meaning of sportsmanship, all while becoming a better QB. Coach Joe is more than a coach he is an inspiration, a friend, and a mentor. No matter where Kyle plays or who he plays for next, Coach Joe will always be a part of his training and education…whether it be on the field, in the classroom watching film or simply as a fan. Joe Neves is Kyle’s football “hero” and KB will do whatever it takes to put a smile on coaches’ face!!!
My son Jarrett has been training with Joe for a year now. I have found QBT to be one of the best experiences and programs that Jarrett has been involved with. Joe has done a great job with taking a baseball player and teaching him the fundamentals of being a successful quarterback.
Most times this is where a dad would talk about how much his son has won, how many touchdowns he has thrown, and if he won the starting job on his team at quarterback. While Jarrett has done all that, Joe has provided him with so much more. I have always felt a good coach would be someone who taught the game in a way that when the game ended, the lesson did not. Work ethic, character, discipline, and respect have always been the traits that I wanted my son to have and Joe has done a great job in reinforcing them in Jarrett.
Jarrett has learned from being a part of QBT that life and sports is about opportunities and how you prepare, react to, and take advantage of situations that come in front of you. Joe has done a great job in partnering with me to get Jarrett in the mind set of being ready for that.
I feel that part of being a good coach at the High School level is that you need to make a positive impact on the players you are teaching. Sports needs to be used as a vehicle to prepare our children for bigger challenges in life! Joe’s program and his approach captures’ all that and more.
Joe has always been honest with Jarrett about his effort, performance, and attitude. When Jarrett has not been at the level he expects he has wasted no time in letting him know. I cannot ask for anything more from a coach then to have my son be dealt with honestly and be told what he needs to hear, not what he wants to hear.
Putting Jarrett in QBT has made a positive impact on him as far as his skill level and his character. I as a parent have really been pleased with how Jarrett has progressed since joining the program and look forward to having him in QBT for the coming years.
